Advanced Open Water Diver Course Overview
The next rank for Open Water Divers is the Advanced Open Water Diver Course (AOW), where you will be trained to dive to a maximum depth of 30 meters (with a limit depth of 40 meters).
Many of the most interesting sites in the world’s oceans are located at depths of 25 meters and below. In the AOW program, you choose five standard specialty courses that interest you, and make your first dive. Therefore, the specialty course in which you dove the first dive can be certified by completing the rest of the dives.
The Advanced Open Water Diver course offered by MSU also has a unique curriculum. Originally, students had to choose five SPs of their own choice, but many new divers are not sure which ones to choose. However, many new divers are confused about which SP to choose. At MSU, we suggest the best SP combination based on each student’s ability and diving experience. This is a great way to reinforce your weak skills and expand your enjoyment of the course.
