Specialty Courses and Prices
With Deep Diving you can explore the underwater world down to 40 metres, and Night Diving lets you experience the mystery of the sea wrapped in darkness. Using Enriched Air (Nitrox) increases your no-decompression limit at a given depth for a more comfortable dive, while Drift Diving lets you feel the sensation of moving effortlessly with the current. Choose the Specialty that matches the diving you want to do.
Our courses require a minimum of 2 participants.
Solo guests are warmly welcome; a Solo Guest Fee of PHP 2,500 is added.
All prices are per person. The certification level shown on each card is the PADI prerequisite for that Specialty; separately, MSU accepts Specialty students who are 16 years or older only.

Prerequisites
16 years and olderMSU accepts Specialty Course students who are 16 years or older only. This is our entry requirement, not a recommendation.
Certification levelEach Specialty also has its own PADI certification prerequisite. It is shown on that Specialty’s card above.
Because MSU accepts students aged 16 and over only, the individual PADI minimum ages for each Specialty are not listed here. Please tell us your current certification when you contact us and we will confirm which Specialty Courses you can take.
Adventure Dive Credit
If you have already completed an Adventure Dive of the same kind — for example during a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course — that Adventure Dive may be credited as one dive of the matching Specialty Course.
- The Adventure Dive must be the same kind as the Specialty Course you are taking.
- If you did that Adventure Dive with MSU, we confirm it from our own training records.
- If you did it at another dive shop, please bring a record that confirms completion, such as your Student Record.
- Whether the credit applies is decided case by case, so please ask us before you book.
Before You Book — Important Notes
- MSU Specialty Courses are open to divers aged 16 and over only.
- Please arrive in Cebu at least one day before the course begins. A course cannot start on the day you arrive.
- Wait at least 18 hours after your last dive before flying.
- PADI courses are performance-based, so we cannot guarantee that a course will be completed within the number of days shown.
- Weather and sea conditions may prevent us from diving, so please plan your trip with room to spare.
- MSU recommends leaving about one full day between the end of your course and your flight.
- The PADI materials and eLearning required for your course are purchased from MSU.
